Goldhour Studio is a photography and videography business based in New York City, serving the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, and Virginia areas. This policy covers the website at goldhourphoto.com and the enquiry forms and advertising we run alongside it.
Information you give us. When you submit the Inquire form — on this site or through a lead form on Facebook or Instagram — you choose to share your name, email address, the type of session you're planning, your event date, venue or location, guest count, budget range, how you found us, and anything you write in the message field. We only ever receive what you type in.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical data when you visit: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site or ad that referred you.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below, who process it on our behalf.
We run advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and this site includes the Meta Pixel — a small piece of code that tells Meta when someone views a page or submits an enquiry. This lets us measure whether our ads actually work and reach people with similar interests. Meta processes this data under its own terms as an independent controller.
You can limit this at any time through yourMeta ad preferences, your device's ad-tracking settings, or your browser's cookie controls. Blocking it will not affect your ability to use this site or contact us.
Enquiries are kept for as long as we're in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Booking and payment records tied to completed work are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.
Photographs taken at a session belong to Goldhour Studio, and we sometimes show a small selection in our portfolio or on social media. If you'd rather your images were never shown publicly, tell us — before or after the session — and we'll keep them private. We do not need a reason.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll action it. If you've submitted an enquiry and simply want to be forgotten, say so and we'll remove it — there's no process to go through.
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. We do photograph children at family and event sessions, always with a parent or guardian present and with their agreement.
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
